Description of Universal Fit Black Stainless Steel Front Bumper License Plate Mount Bracket Holder for Off-Road Lights, LED Work Lamps, and LED Lighting Bar - iJDMTOY AA3117

Universal mounting bracket using front license plate mount location (no drill, no modification required for most cases). Made with 1. 5mm thick heavy-duty stainless steel with semi-gloss black paint, once you hold it, you can feel the weight. Unlike many other ones on the market that are made with very flimsy aluminum, which cannot withstand the impact or actually mount the LED lightbar on it. Four different locations/methods to mount any off-road pod lights, LED work lamps or LED light bar, etc. If the existing holes are only on the plastic bumper, you may use the additional holes on the side of the bracket plane to secure the bull bar. In this case, we recommend drilling holes to mount the bracket onto the vehicle. Fit Type: Pod Cube Lightbar Iron Worklight Relocation Relocator Pilot Bullbar Guard Driving Car Rear Drl.

Nice item but cheap workmanship

This is a nice little bar, put my light on it nicely. The only criticism is that after 2 months of use, the surface has peeled off. It seems that it is liquid and cheap paint. I plan to powder coat it in the future.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

Worth the money

Drilled a few holes in the metal front frame of the car. Hang a menacing locker on it to keep it from falling and I screw the license plate onto the black plate. The only thing is aluminum or something, but for $30 I'd take it.

Pros
  • Handy piece
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Not very heavy good for lighting and lighting accessories

Nice looking product. However, this is only decoration or support of a light band. No heavy use. Someone hit my car in the parking lot and this pole was immediately damaged. Also, it doesn't mount to the solid metal part of my Hyundai, only the plastic bumper, so nothing solid - wobbles and vibrates. This bar just doesn't fit in Santa Fe.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Non Heavy Duty Accent & Off Road Lighting

I used it to install LED lights on the front of a golf cart. I installed it upside down to mount the headlights. It worked great for the purpose I bought it for. It is in no way a pusher or help for any effects. It's behind my front wheel, so my tires are going to hit a little in front of that bar or the headlights. Unless, of course, it's a pole and I hit it dead center, which I try to avoid. This looks nice and is a good way to mount a small light bar. I only have a 20" pole and 2-8" lights…

Great for a basic LED light bar

Seems to be pretty solid hardware. I don't need a crazy solid bottom mount bumper guard and this one is perfect for a 20" LED light bar. I actually installed mine upside down because I wanted the bar itself to be level with the black underside of the bumper. drilled 4 holes in the bumper for the exact placement i wanted and added flat metal brackets over the bolt points to give extra support to the holes. I just used 2 simple brackets to mount the license plate. It works fine on my Subaru…

For the doubters.

I received this rod and the first thing I did was to check if it was stainless steel or not. My magnet didn't stick anywhere on this rod. First time in my area for something like this on my car with a 3 row LED bar. I catch the eyes of passers-by. The mechanic at the local gas station came out and said he really liked it. In order to bolt it to the frame I had to remove the entire front bumper. I decided against it. I used an 8mm hole with a very thick washer and locknut on the back. Yes, the…

Good looking and a perfect fit

Installed on a 1992 Suburban. It was a good buy. While reviews may say it's cheap or flimsy, it's not. If you install it properly by drilling holes and attaching it with nuts and bolts instead of screws, it will be very strong. I don't notice any jerking or knocking when driving. I mounted it onto an existing plate holder, just drilled. Installed 2 Hella headlights on it and it looks perfect and fits perfectly. It's fairly light so doesn't offer as much protection as a pusher, it's just a…

Good fit for 05 Forester

Perfect fit for what I need, light weight yet strong enough to trust with my lights. The welds are clean and the finish is perfect. I recommend using self tapping screws if you have usable metal behind the license plate screws. (Feel with an awl before drilling). Luckily I only had 3 inches of foam and air between the bolt holes and good steel. I also used 30lb Gorilla mounting tape on the rear to reduce vibration and sprayed a few ounces as well. Foam into the cavity behind the license plate…
