My husband and I installed this towbar on our 2015 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid today. Easy to install even for newbies like us. You will need a few tools as mentioned in the manufacturer's (Kurt) YouTube video including a torque wrench. You must also have access to someone who can use a torque wrench up to 86 ft.lbs. Not for a trifle: a heat shield "reflector" mounted on the underside of the car just above the muffler. Its trailing edge collides with the clutch plate on that side of the vehicle. I used "tin snips" to cut off the backmost 3/8-1/2 inches. never mind; just watch out. Also, the trick of separating the muffler from the rubber "washer" with soapy water is a great tip, although I've found that dish soap works better if I don't add water; Also, I found it easier to use a small brush (about 1/2 inch) to apply dish soap than a spray bottle. My driveway has a fairly steep incline; I found it easier to install the hitch by positioning the car so the tail went down - lots more room to work under the tail. I work slowly - it took me a leisurely 2 1/2 hours. Very well designed clutch. Would highly recommend and recommend doing it yourself rather than paying for it.
