I was really hoping this would be a good buy. Unfortunately the siphon doesn't work very well and I only use it to pump out water. You have to twist the handle very hard to get a good seal. and even with the hose going straight down I can't get it to maintain a good flow. Simply filling a 5 gallon bucket with water requires at least 6 or 7 reps with at least 5 pumps per rep. So that's 30-35 pumps for just a 5 gallon bucket of water. And it's not very fast either. It will probably only take 2-3 minutes. As my 55 gallon keg nears the bottom, it also gets harder and harder to pump. Once you hit the last 10 gallons, all you have to do is keep pumping to make this thing work. I liked the idea behind this product and the lack of the need to use electricity, but it didn't work in my opinion.
