This extension cable is unabashed scrap. I've had many extenders and mastered this technology early on. There is no user error or unrealistic expectations behind this 1 star rating, it is reality. The build quality is incredibly poor. It has the weight and feel of a child's toy. This is what a hollow plastic mockup would look like. Most importantly, if the expander is 2 inches from a 1200Mbps gigabyte gateway and my device and I are 6 inches from both, it will only do a 25MB download on a 2.4 GHz channel processed. The advertised capacity of 300MB is just nonsense. A 4 year old CHEAP N300 power strip located 2 floors down shows 220MB on a 2.4GHz channel with the same device I plugged into that horrible power strip. Reviews and reviewers via any of the online review check sites, I would immediately state that all but one are totally unnatural (fake). Shame on me. it goes back
