Introduced on my 1994 F-150 XLT after an OEM part failed. For those that do, you'll need to remove the hood, radio antenna, and wiper arms (tip - make a note or remember where the wipers are when not in use). From there you will need to remove about 10-15 screws from the top of the panel and the inside of the hood. Lift it up and push it forward, it should come out. Unscrew everything from the inside and replace the motor with a new one. reassemble in reverse order (tip - check the wiper hoses again, mine came loose and I had to redo everything). So far no problems, mileage about 6000km.
