I REALLY understand that this lock is for deterrence only and is likely to be easily picked. But like I said, I think it's a good buy. I live in a nice area and I'm hoping that a simple scare system will suffice. While I like the color options, I went with black/grey. I just think it looks more like a higher quality lock than a bright fancy color. Trust me I wanted pink. I haven't tried mounting yet. I think it will be on the way. I have a back pocket that I keep it in, but I'll install it if needed. It's easy to use and I wanted a 5 digit code so that when my friends come and use the bike I can just change it to something they will remember: their zip code! If I find that the quality and safety are not what I expected, I will definitely update my review. Until then, and I really hope I don't have to, I'm very happy with my purchase.
