Heavy and very adjustable

Like most cutting tools, some honing and polishing needed. Has a good heft, can be set up to work very well. It does require some learning to adjust the blade forward and back, and to position the front plate up and down to adjust thickness of cut. Expensive but well worth it for lovers of hand tools.

Same as in store. Came ready to use. Quality. Happy with purchase.

Cons

May require significant effort to apply enough pressure for effective shaving
