We had a musty, moldy basement. And a draft at home. We foamed our roof to use the attic and asked the company to paint it fire retardant paint as the area was so large and we only wanted to use it for storage we didn't want drywall. For the basement, however, we foamed because of moisture and covered the walls with drywall, but the foam is still visible on the edge joists. We skip the false ceiling by painting the entire ceiling white. The 2x10 joists are fire retardant themselves so we can use regular paint, however the foam on drywall will need to be painted with fire retardant paint. This product is the answer. It only takes a few gallons and you can paint with a brush. Perfect. Secure. Did.
