Review on Caron Cakes Self Striping Yarn BUTTERCREAM by Doris Tran

I was very disappointed in the Caron Cakes I bought from Revain. The store's Caron cakes are remarkably soft, with few knots and no variation in color. The ones I bought from Revain were itchy and rough with severe discoloration, no consistent color changes and lots of lumps. It is clear that seconds. I am so disappointed. They also cost three times more than in Michaels. Supply and demand I guess. That's when they caught me. If the paint hadn't been discontinued and it was a gift and not for me I would have sent it back. I just needed a few more to complete my quilt. Note to self: Buy everything I need in store for the first time.
