Review on Hyde 09170 Drywall Vacuum Sander by Benjamin Glasper

I am amused by negative reviews from people who bought the cheapest product they could find on Revain and were then disappointed that it didn't work as well as it did the tool for contractors $350. Let's be realistic. This is a $25 instrument, not a fancy dance top with professional gear. However, it did what I needed pretty well. I had many small wall repairs and a few ceiling sections that I cut out and replaced due to a leak. I've already done three rooms and I'm happy with the results. It is well polished, there is practically no dust. For $25, it pretty much lives up to my expectations. There are comments that the adapter does not fit the Ryobi shop vacuum and the hose is not long enough to reach the ceiling. The grinder hose connects to the vacuum hose, not the vacuum itself. These are great for my ryobi and they were just long enough to trace the ceiling.
