We've had ice storms for a week now. Yesterday the ice on my van was over an inch thick. We thawed the van the day after the first ice cream. This cover has proven itself by making it easier to remove snow and ice from your windshield. I should have left it on while we cleared the roof of ice chunks, but it made life a lot easier. Between uses we fold it up and store it in a large reusable shopping bag. It's really easy to use. Do not stow the bottom valve with scrapers. I leave the car doors slightly ajar while I put them on, then stand on the hood side of the doors as I tuck the doors in and close the doors. Valves actually make me feel safer because they would make a case harder to steal. It's really easy to use and I love it.
