OK, less than a year after installing these cables they are failing because they are complete junk! I took great care to wrap the entire wiring harness in conduit and tape and they have NOT FAILED YET! The light still seems to work, but why even turn on the cord if you're going to trick someone? I can't articulate how upset I am with this crap they pass off as wiring harness. I spent a whole day installing this CHARACTER and wrapping it with conduit and tape to make sure it stayed on. And it's still rusty! I've never seen a cable fall apart like that! Once corrosion starts anywhere, it will spread through the wire under the insulation. It is not possible to strip the insulation and repair a corroded spot as the ENTIRE WIRE will just fall apart because it is so fragile and made from such a cheap material! I don't just want a refund, I want Amazon to compensate me for the time I wasted installing, then trying to diagnose and fix, and then finally gave up that crap and reinstalled the cable have!
