Simple, efficient and practical design. The lid is removable for easy access. The wires can run through the bottom or along the sides. I used 6 AWG wire and it barely ran through the sides. Better down with 6 AWG or more. I used ring terminals on my wires to keep them from falling off when loosening screws to replace a fuse. A quarter turn on both screws is enough to easily remove the MAXI lock. I prefer this design because I don't know what quality wire I'll get with the other design that comes with the wires. That way I know ALL cables are marine grade and can withstand moisture and vibration. I'm 100% off-grid with solar and need the best possible connections for the relatively small amount of power I get from solar. They're expensive for what they are, but if you want the best, this might be what you need; Blue Sea does great things.
