Review on Dorman 626-315HP: Premium Quality HVAC Heater Hose Assembly for Chrysler/Dodge (OE FIX) by Troy Robinson

As others have pointed out, the square fitting supplied by Dorman is complete junk. Mine came off on the freeway and spilled all the coolant. As it flew away, the internal O-rings scattered somewhere, and I hobbled to the house on the old leaky assembly. I then used a PVC cutter to cut the plastic ring on the factory fitting and relocated it to the Dorman hose (you will now need to use a clamp as the diameter is too large for a spring clamp). He's acting like a sucker now. The second hose assembly is pretty much perfect as it is. The little fasteners Dorman leaves for installation are very nice, but for this job it's better to have a pair of needle end clips handy!
