As others have pointed out, the square fitting supplied by Dorman is complete junk. Mine came off on the freeway and spilled all the coolant. As it flew away, the internal O-rings scattered somewhere, and I hobbled to the house on the old leaky assembly. I then used a PVC cutter to cut the plastic ring on the factory fitting and relocated it to the Dorman hose (you will now need to use a clamp as the diameter is too large for a spring clamp). The OEM design is not perfect and this really needs to be remembered. A plastic part consisting of two parts joined together under pressure and heat. hmm really? I'm glad Dorman is selling this replacement kit to replace a factory OEM design flaw. It's painfully obvious what the problem is when you start looking around.
