Review on Dorman 626-315HP: Premium Quality HVAC Heater Hose Assembly for Chrysler/Dodge (OE FIX) by Isaac Simpson

The OEM design is not perfect and this really needs to be remembered. A plastic part consisting of two parts joined together under pressure and heat. hmm really? I'm glad Dorman is selling this replacement kit to replace a factory OEM design flaw. It's painfully obvious what the problem is when you start looking around. I was able to swap out the hoses with very little effort. To be honest, the hardest part is putting the pliers on the old clamps and removing the old parts. The new hoses come with locking clips on the new clamps so you can literally just slide them on and then loosen the clip. No leaks with new parts. Took me about 30 minutes including 20 minutes to remove the old hoses, especially the small star connector with a snap clamp. Everything else was simple and straightforward. The new aluminum design that Dorman uses lasts longer than OEM parts and is a great solution to a flawed design.
