This was an exact replacement for a 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ passenger door. The old one leaked every time even a small amount of water got in the door - so much that the floorboard began to rust. The new seal came with no instructions but was easy to customize and install. Took less than 10 minutes from start to finish and fits perfectly. Now it takes a little more effort to close the door because it's much thicker than the old one, but doesn't let 99% of the water through even in heavy rain. And yet there is a trickle of water somewhere. I still recommend.
