Amazing Hole Punch

This is my first time buying a leather punch and after seeing sellers using the same leather punches in stores I realized that nothing would have changed if I had used it myself and that I could also save time. and money if I didn't have to go to the shop or to the shoemaker. Before I finally settled on this punch, I looked at a few other punches, but I found that Skilled Crafter's Leather Punch looked more promising than the others. The only downside is that the puncher was a little pricey, and it would be nice if it was cheaper, but the punch itself feels sturdy and sturdy. to insert a hole in the strap of my new Gucci bag. The strap was too long for my petite figure and I had to add a hole to make the shoulder shorter. I practiced on three old belts I had a long time ago before trying it on my Gucci belt. The first hits on my old straps weren't that clean and I wondered if it was because the material was faux leather or because the straps were just outdated - they were soft and a little fluffy. After a few more bangs on the old belts, I was finally able to get clean cuts of various sizes. The striking wheel was difficult to turn and I had to exert myself every time the spokes were adjusted. The wheel only moves in one direction, so you have to push the wheel in the direction that moves away from you. My fingers hurt after spinning the wheel twice, so I had to let them rest before re-adjusting the wheel. I have attached two photos (front and back) of my Gucci bag strap. The ribbon is approximately 1/8" thick and glazed on both sides. The left hole is the original factory hole and the right hole is the new hole I made with a hole punch. I contacted Skills Crafter before I got the stamp used and they responded very quickly. The customer rep recommended I putting a thin card on the bottom for a clean cut, so I followed the advice and the hole came out flawless. In the middle of punching the strap, for some reason the breech got caught between the handles and didn't allow me to fully depress the puncher. I freaked out for a split second thinking I'd messed up my bag because the leather strap was probably too tight, then I quickly realized the clasp was unexpectedly horizontal (I was probably too nervous to even put it on). find out in time), so no matter how hard I squeezed the grips, the punch didn't go all the way down. When the stamp is all the way through, you will hear a soft click. Fortunately it turned out that the hole was fine even after the hysterical and embarrassing accident of those 15 seconds of my life. Everything was fine and life goes on.
