Fluke tools seldom disappoint and these pliers are no exception. They're not your father's Channellocks! I also own, like, and use Channellocks, but there really is no comparison in quality. The Flukes are beautifully made in Germany of forged Cro-Van steel. The jaws are well-aligned. Teeth are sharp. V-notches are offset, so they will pretty much grip anything you can get into the jaws. The smoothness of the adjustment - and it's finely adjustable besides - really has to be felt to be appreciated. The handles are perfect. Comfortable. Insulated to 1000 volts. Shaped to not allow your hand slipping forward. Safety orange and yellow. No cast protrusions or flash. They appear to be press-fit and I couldn't get them to budge no matter how hard I tried. These are expensive pliers. In this case you are absolutely getting what you paid for.Highly Recommended. Even if you don't need insulated pump pliers, these are such an upgrade from lesser pliers that it's worth it if you can spring for them.
