Good starter kit for single board computers

A good starter kit. I wish there were specs for the different parts - it could be on a CD, but most people don't have a CD drive these days (maybe a flash drive instead, or a link to a website?). I would like the bags to be labeled or on the accompanying booklet to indicate where each part was located as there are multiple gauges that look very similar.
