Review on 🐠 SunGrow Easter Island Statues Aquarium Decor, Neon Tetra Fish, 7" and 5", Resin Replicas of World Famous Moai Figures, 2 Pieces by Danielle Smith

I'm not sure if the product I received was bad or the entire line of products, but they release a lot of tar VOCs. This usually indicates a poorly mixed resin that is having trouble fully curing. I've tried washing them in hot water, baking soda, vinegar, etc. to no avail. I set up a new aquarium, left it overnight without fish and was almost knocked over in the morning opening the lid of the aquarium from the smell of volatile organic compounds, even though they were completely submerged. Given that the statues were intended for the betta aquarium and bettas also breathe air unlike most fish, I couldn't consciously put a fish in this aquarium no matter how cute the decoration was.
