Netgear has terrible customer service. They recommend you use their app to set up your router. But if the application doesn't work successfully, it's just a dead end. They don't offer the option to contact customer service as that's the last thing they expect from you. You can go to the website and try to contact support. But they literally won't give you a phone number until you fill out all that information and confirm you bought it within the last 90 days. (By the way, if you want that number, it's 1-408-638-4327.) At this point, the website gives you a case number, which they claim is priority, but I still had to wait 20 minutes. Then you get a field representative who just screens your call and then transfers you to where you wait ANOTHER 20 MINUTES. I've been through this twice because my Netgear modem won't connect to the Orbi modem that the company makes. for.NETGEAR! Don't waste time. There are too many other options out there.
