Review on VCT Dowel Jig Kit: 🔩 Ultimate Precision for Wood Doweling Hole Drilling by Souly Buddy

I think this design could be improved. Joining wood with dowels requires precision, and this tool doesn't make it as easy as I was hoping. Its main feature, I think, is to center the dowel holes right in the middle of the two faces to be joined. I would say this is usually within 1/16 plus or minus. But there's also the problem of having holes on two surfaces aligned left and right, and this tool really doesn't do well. I can imagine a high end woodworking shop selling tools at much higher prices that work much better. And of course there are carpentry machines, but I wanted my surfaces to be joined so the fasteners would go deeper into each surface than biscuits.
