This is an amazing microscope. Growing up with an analog x50-500 I wasn't expecting much for the price but we gave it to our daughter who is a freshman at UC studying biology and we were both absolutely amazing and genuinely dizzy from this one inexpensive scope. We were able to spot critters in our saltwater tank simply by scanning the tank, the water, and the rim of the glass, and we found what we knew they were there. I highly recommend this as a gift. I recommend it so much that the physical company I own is considering buying it for two local high schools!
