Review on Efficient USB3.0 Manual Sharing Switch for USBHUB, Printer, Scanner & Two Computers (A/B Switch) by Robert Pearson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

*** Bidirectional ***

Oldschool A/B USB Switch. No fancy lighting or power supply is used. Pros: Bi-directional (hard to find). one input, two outputs (or) two inputs, one output Box and USB connectors are of decent quality. Some reviews say it's too bulky. Do you remember the big brown metal boxes with the big black rotary switch? I'm taking a break from my business :) Needs improvement: The two-button A/B switch on the top of the box feels a bit flimsy. but it works :) My application: a HTPC in the bedroom with two TVs (bedroom and living room). I need a keyboard and mouse set in every room. With this switch I can switch between bedroom and living room keyboards and mouse sets. Using (2) Logitech K270 keyboards and (2) M570 trackball mice. Long range receiver versions. Floor converters are used at the junction box (USB B to USB A). Works great :) Had to use USB amp to connect keyboard/mouse in living room.

Pros
  • even the old ones understand
Cons
