Review on Denso 234 4355 Oxygen Sensor Ratio by Sean Fabacher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

OEM quality at a great price

I bought this sensor on an Acura TL 05 with 265,000 miles that was giving an intermittent check engine light on bank 2. Denso sensors are OEM and I can get one at Revain for much less than the Acura brand (Denso) at the dealer. I recommend buying a good O2 sensor socket and tapping chuck, especially for older vehicles that have had sensors installed for a long time. Giving them a good dose of PB Blaster or some other penetrating oil helps to make sensor removal easier. Some O2 sensor jacks are stubborn sensors that are difficult to loosen and round off so you can trim the pig's tail. from the old sensor and use a 22mm deep socket to disconnect it. This is especially useful for cars from snowy states, as salt on the roads can rust the old sensor in place (which is why a carving tool comes in handy). Look at Revain for a kit that includes an O2 sensor and a line cutter. They are not expensive and make the job much easier.
