DeWalt VS VacMaster

and vacuum cleaner VacMaster 6.5 HP Both are brand new. Both are about the same price, size and weight - the DeWalt feels a bit heavier. VacMaster has a stainless steel tank; DeWalt had hard plastic. None of them rust. The DeWalt hose feels better - better quality. The DeWalt filter is almost 1 inch longer - both are the same width. The DeWalt hose snaps into place. soft rubber thing to attach the hose. Both have a cord compartment - the DeWalt has a large handle on top of the machine, the VacMaster has two cord clips - one on each handle. Both rear wheels are about 8 inches in diameter. DeWalt is a closed type while VacMaster is an open type. Both fit easily into my newly presented room. NOW FOR THE BIG PROBLEM - WHICH VACUUM CLEANERS MORE: I used a professional HVAC air gauge. I couldn't measure FPM when opening the vacuum or hose because it was too strong. , so I designed a simple jig that will hold this tool about 4 inches. At the entrance to the vacuums, the DeWalt speed was 360-375 fpm. At the end of the DeWalt hose it was 390-405 fpm. The stainless was 450 fpm, but it dropped to 350 at the end of the hose. I'm just spitting, but maybe the DeWalt hose is smoother inside than the VacMaster. I had about a dozen Sears and Ridged vacuums. , many with 6.5 hp. (For her). In my opinion, any of these vacuums will suck the hair out of your cats β€” well, maybe not. I decided to keep the DeWalt as I could see the good SS VacMaster tank slowly sinking in over time. I also felt that the DeWalt hose was more durable and a bit lighter. govern. Also, the VacMaster was noticeably louder and squeaked.
