Let me start by saying that I don't listen to music with headphones. But I think the HD 280 is good for this and will survive long daily wear. I bought these headphones about six years ago for a drummer - for recording drums. The drummer has since changed (not even once), and the headphones still live with me and are used regularly. They sit perfectly on the head and do not weigh down too much: they survived several episodes of recording for 5-6 hours in a row. Well isolate the monitor mix from the microphone due to strong pressure. At the same time, they do not put too much pressure on the ears thanks to the lush ear pads. Ergonomics are top notch and if you have medium sized ears you will love them. In addition, they fold into a compact clump and are convenient to take with you. The twisted ("telephone") cord also contributes to this. In general, the quality of workmanship and thoughtfulness - 6 out of 5. By sound. They have a raised bottom, due to which they are suitable for controlling low frequencies in mixes. The middle is more or less flat, the top is unpleasantly accented, rather trashy. Detail is low. Those who say that they are suitable for mixing / mastering as the main device - do not believe and do not flatter yourself. As a control, I repeat, they fit well. In general, you can (and should) buy.
