I bought this unit because the unit we got from Costco was solar powered. Wouldn't charge if I wasn't using the battery to charge. Also, the wireless connection only works when the devices are no more than a meter apart. This device allows me to hook it up to my wife's 2005 Toyota Sienna. Comes with 10mm socket and wrench and 2 wire clips only. One for power and ground. Just make sure you find the right power source for the reverse light and connect both positive wires together. WITHOUT CUTTING WIRES. Use a T-wire connector for positive and a screw-wire connector for ground. After that I tested it and it worked perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a simple and inexpensive backup camera.
