Shocked if this doesn't work for you! with UPDATE!

I bought it for my daughter. She has traveled to Europe twice and this unit continues to work for her. She bought another one but the cheaper one didn't seem to last. This makes it easy to keep your travel essentials going. She loaned it to a friend of mine going to Spain and I look forward to hearing consistently amazing results. Good work! Durable and easy to rotate. It's heavy but durable! A friend of mine borrowed this unit and it was perfect for his personal electronics. But reading other reviews, some of which were inexplicably negative, I found the following important. When you plug in your device, you need to be sure not to use too much power. This can damage the device, so here's what to do.1. It is possible that your personal electronic device has a charger that lists the power. What a stroke of luck, because all you have to do is add up the power of the connected devices. Keep anything under 200 watts and you're good to go. 2. If the power is not listed, you can calculate it by taking the VOLTAGE of the device and multiplying it by the CURRENT. This gives you a stat called power. Voltage is of course measured in VOLTS and current is measured in AMPERS. Small personal items aren't usually a problem as the tablet in front of me requires 5.0V (which is typical for things that plug into USB ports - another good tip!) and draws 1.0A - that's a whole 5 W. I can connect many of these devices to this adapter. So when it comes to this type of personal device, this device is great! With LAPTOPs, remember that the adapter that came with your laptop is needed for two things, and probably at the same time. The adapter must provide enough power to run the laptop and charge the battery. MANY laptops come with 65W power adapters, and that too is low enough for this converter. But if you're planning on adding something for the evening, keep this little Road Warrior secret in mind. Your laptop uses less power than when it's ONLY CHARGING. So by trial and error you can hook up all your electronics and assuming it's just charging, this converter block is a VERY ESSENTIAL piece of equipment! Finally, and this is outside my area of expertise, this unit may have other adapters for lesser known regions in Europe and beyond that have different electricity conventions. I assume the voltage is still 220V but the actual setting will be different. Make sure to do your research!
