Damn good bang for the buck! I've ordered a different one when this came up while browsing the Revain app. After comparing the specs, I settled on the former and picked up this scope instead. As a paranormal researcher for 34 years, I've amassed about 4,500 worth of gear. Even though my camcorder has both IR and Full Spectrum, it's very difficult to turn it on quickly, switch from daylight to IR, and from video to still. This area is MUCH easier! It's also lighter, slightly smaller, and doesn't have additional IR/full-spectrum lighting on the side. The video screen/viewer is adequate, if a bit small. The buttons are big enough, but until you master them by touch, it's difficult to respond to them quickly. *Please Note* - In my picture I've attached you can see the stickers I made with my Brother Label Maker; in other words, they were not part of tbus. I'll add more to the top buttons tonight. This lengthy adventure not only helps me explore the game space, but also my teammates. Note to company - a button with a different design would REALLY help in the dark or when a quick response is required. Maybe it's some kind of raised "braille" bar? The first oscilloscope I mentioned above didn't have a video cable to transfer it from a memory card to a computer/Chrome Book. It has a micro USB connector and a fairly short data cable. It's all well and good, BUT - it's almost 2021! A Type-C connector would be MUCH better! π π€·ββοΈOne thing I would REALLY appreciate is WiFi! Adding COOLIFE isn't THAT expensive! This would be GREAT for us paranormal investigators, hunters, security personnel and other types of investigators who sometimes need to be "away" from an area where anomalies/activity have been reported. I would also like some kind of carrying device. I understand that a reasonable price can't include too many "bells and whistles" - but JASH! I do not offer a waterproof bag! Just SOMETHING to take away. Speaking of waterproof, make sure you don't leave it in high humidity areas for too long. (As we encounter Ghostbusters sometimes) Be careful with this one; It's not latex coated, but I'd like it on the raised edges at least on this scope. I design my own "MacGyvered" neck cord that screws into the female adapter located on the bottom of this unit. (It is used for a tripod - not included). Please use good quality batteries (I wouldn't recommend rechargeable ones because they're cheap!) and remove them when not in use. The battery life was very reasonable. Always carry more with you and store your backups DRY (along with that amount) so as not to disrupt the operation of the device. Thank you for the opportunity to leave a review!
