Review on Fluidmaster B1T12CS CLICK SEAL Toilet Connector: Stainless Steel, 12-Inch Length by Matt Jenkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good deal but the click didn't work properly initially. Plus a leak warning.

I don't know why but at first the hose didn't seal properly. The clicking only came when I felt like I was trying too hard. The toilet worked once and never filled again. I took it off and redid it and it clicked in the right place. I also redid the metal fitting on the other end, which I also thought was too tight. After that it worked as it should. If your old one is leaking, turn off the water in the toilet. When mine first leaked I hand tightened it and it was fine for a couple of weeks but then it started leaking again. I ordered the part from Revain, but after a few hours the clamp around the hose ruptured, flooding the house with over 50 gallons of water. What a mess. If I had been away any longer, who knows how bad it would have been. If you need to replace this, you will likely need to replace the fill valve as well, as hard water will warp the rubber washer that sits just above this hose connector. It's all easy to do. Watch the instruction videos on Youtube if you need help.
