Nice looking set but a few problems

This is a unique looking pot set. The set is a powder blue color with sparkling glitter accents. Although it resembles the glitter used in crafts, I really like it. It sounds like it's meant to look very gaudy, but the use of glitter is understated and tasteful. i really like it This is something you have to see to appreciate because the word glitter makes most people think of a kids art class project. The sides of the pots in this set are thinner than I expected but appear stronger and more durable than they appear. The set cooks and washes well with no issues except care is taken not to burn the stainless steel interior. The set includes three pots and a frying pan. The frying pan is the only part of the set with a ceramic non-stick coating. It's also the only product that doesn't have its own lid, although it may share a lid with the largest pot. The lid is perfect for both. Medium-sized universal frying pan. It's small enough to cook a meal by yourself, but big enough to cook a meal for a family of four if needed. All other pans in the set have stainless steel inner and lower hobs. This is a good starter set with a good range of medium and large pot sizes, but it doesn't include any real small pots. The smallest pot in this set looks small at first glance, but it is larger than the second largest pot in our other set. It's practically a giant compared to our smallest pot. The smallest saucepan is commonly used in our household. Someone will likely cook it up for a batch of hot oatmeal, ramen, or some hot dogs or eggs. The small pot in this set is too big for one serving in my opinion. While this will obviously work, it's overkill for small oversized plates and leaves a lot of extra unused pot surface for later cleaning. The beechware was the most disappointing item in the set. These include a slotted spoon, a hard spoon and a spatula/turner. The dishes are large and made from beautiful solid beech, but the quality seems to be lacking. At first they seemed decent in weight and strength. I then discovered that the hard spoon in this set was cracked/split down the middle from top to bottom right out of the box. The spoon went straight from the shipping carton into the trash can.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor problems
