Looks solid - at least for a dog used to a crate. I really like the door lock. Reliable and easy to use. When the dog scratches or plays, it makes a lot of noise (especially at 3am). You can solve this problem by placing something heavy (a box of poker chips) on it. This will prevent the wires from rattling. Also, lay a cheap, low-pile, discount rug on the floor to keep your fingernails from scratching the plastic baking sheet. This crate is a nice upgrade for my 10 month old corgi. We are both very happy.
