Edit: Customer service was very responsive and processed my warranty by quickly replacing the product within 1 week of the initial email. I have many concerns about the internal design of the tensioner, but I'll try again. Too bad I can't get 3 1/2 stars. First Rating: The clip system for attaching the device to the handlebars is excellent, which is why I have upgraded my rating to two stars. Without the handlebar clamp that would be a solid star. The handlebar clamp does not scratch and is easy to tighten. I've even considered installing one on my bike. I'm very glad I didn't! After 9 months of use on a road bike, the clip holding the phone to the side stopped working. When I disassembled the clip I found tiny plastic pins (1.5mm) holding two springs that provide tension. When two of these pins broke all tension was lost and the phone could no longer stay in place. If he only lasted 9 months on a road bike at 40-50 miles a week I can't imagine he would last long. usually on a mountain bike or motorcycle.
