Review on ๐Ÿš— Tesa Wire Loom Harness Tape: The Preferred Choice for Mercedes, BMW, VW, and Audi by Kenyatae Tillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much more heat resistant than tape. No more sticky mess.

After using this tape for my last head unit install I can't use any more tape. While duct tape can be useful in many automotive applications, I have found specific uses for it such as: B. wrapping wires under the engine bay, it gets sticky very easily and you know you have to untie it. This Tesa tape is very heat resistant (150 C or 302 F) and wraps up very easily without leaving a sticky mess. This tape proved very helpful in wrapping the amp power wire under the engine bay as I routed it from the battery + terminal to the amp in the car. In addition, it gives the installation a professional look. I have posted some photos of this product in action and I hope they help you get an idea of what this band can do. ** A notice. **There are different models of Tesa tape, so make sure you choose the one that best suits your use. For example if you intend to use it mostly under the engine bay then "Tesa 51026 or 51036" would be a good choice as they are heat resistant even up to 302F. However, if you intend to use this primarily at lower temperatures - e.g. at home or in the passenger compartment of a car - then "Tesa 51608" or 51606" (which are cheaper) will be more than adequate as they are heat resistant up to 221F.
