As an OEM with my 16' F150. I prefer not to leave the fuel filler neck unused in the truck unless necessary. As a result, there is no smell of gas in the funnel. I keep this extra funnel in a plastic bag on my workbench to add fuel from a portable 5 gallon container every few months to keep the fuel fresh. Easier to access my desk than behind the seat. Works as intended. Prevents damage to the capless filler neck on new Ford vehicles by directly inserting the tank spout as most pour spouts have a lip on the end that catches on the gasket.
