New cast iron lid! Very good!

December 2018 Rating: Details/characteristics indicate the light red color is enameled cast iron. That is not true! This is a type of porcelain stoneware. I am disappointed in misleading information. I was expecting an enameled cast iron lid. Update 4/12/19: Last year (December 2018) I bought 1 tagin for myself and 2 as gifts for my friends. I was disappointed that the lid is ceramic and not cast iron. Tagine was still of good quality. I was able to make some delicious stews, but I was always careful not to accidentally drop our broken lid. I wasn't sure if the lid would fit in the oven either. This year I am very glad that the manufacturer chose the cast iron lid. It's much better, very beautiful and still retains the same cooking quality. I bought several of these tajines to give away for Christmas. So I give this review 5 stars. Thanks to the manufacturer and seller! We'll have a never-ending update that I'm cooking multiple times in my new cast-iron lidded tagine.
