I have to say I was a bit skeptical about the claims of reducing the terrible heat in my garage. I purchased this product because my neighbor across the street has large polarized windows that reflect the radiant heat of the afternoon sun directly onto my metal garage door, heating the interior to unbearable levels. Installation was nice and easy with no hassle of trimming pre-cut sizes to fit my interior trim. I bought two boxes to cover my garage door. Last Saturday the temperature in my garage was 119 degrees Fahrenheit (outside in Houston it was 104 degrees Fahrenheit). Pooh. After installation, the temperature on Sunday was 10°F lower (89°F) than the outside temperature of 30°C. It works! I was surprised and very happy. I am now recommending this product to my neighbors.
