This adapter is identified by my Dell laptop as a Dell USB network adapter on a Dell Inspiron 7373 laptop There was a problem once, although the laptop refused to do it identify it on the USB-C port. Finally, he went into the laptop's hardware diagnostics and ran hardware tests. Plugged in the adapter and the diagnostics saw it and the link light on the adapter came on as expected, rebooted the laptop to normal Windows10 (I don't like win10 but that's another topic!) and everything was fine so it's working, but it wasn't, and then it happened. The build quality isn't very good either.
