Revainrating 4 out of 5

HONEST rating after color calibration

Let's start with some properties after calibration. This is my game calibration. It's not exactly color accurate, but there's a good reason for it. To get SRGB accuracy you need to turn the brightness all the way down to around 40. Since this monitor can output a maximum of 350 nits, this low brightness is only suitable for dimly lit rooms and general use. For games, you need to increase the brightness to see all the details. But the trade-off is the loss of color fidelity. The following calibrations are a compromise to get a great gaming experience even in a well-lit room and still get acceptable color accuracy. Keep in mind that every panel is slightly different, so your settings may differ from mine by a few points, but this gives you a good base. Game Calibration - Red - 87 Green - 92 Blue - 97 Brightness - 75 Contrast - 81 Response Time - Fast Black Stabilization - Off - Universal Calibration - (for maximum color accuracy) - Red - 82, Green - 86, Blue - 92, Brightness - 40, Contrast - 80, response time - fast, black stabilization - disabled. If you're looking for really fast response times, a 34-inch ultra-wide gaming monitor with low blur is in the top three. It uses the same panel as the LG 34GK950F-B, but Dell's build quality is excellent. The best materials and the best quality. So with LG's amazing Nano Cell Color technology and Alienware case, you get the best of both worlds. The downside of IPS is the lack of contrast compared to VA panels and lower black uniformity. for games and movies. Colors are great video, and even with a lack of brightness and contrast, Nanocell technology gives you the feel of HDR colors without real HDR. Yes, the price is steep, but if you're willing to spend a little more, you'll have time to move on to something else. So far there are no detectable dead pixels on my device. There are some uniformity issues on the edges of the panel where it's a bit darker than the center, which I couldn't get right, hence my 4-star rating. If I can't fix it with sizing I may consider sending it back. At this price you should expect perfection.
