I bought this for my upcoming trips so I don't have to carry a straightener and big curling iron. I like that there is also a travel case. Being from the US, one thing confused me when I turned it on and the temperature on the display didn't go over 200 degrees. I wondered if it was buggy, but eventually found that it works in Celsius. 200 degrees Celsius is 396 Fahrenheit, about as much as I hold my regular curling iron. I have medium to fine mostly straight hair and this suits me. The curling iron clip doesn't open very far, but it works. Basically, you just have to spend a little more time on the styling process, but that's a trade-off for not having to pack as much. The only thing I don't like is the aesthetic - the color of the gum, which makes me a little nauseous, and the shape of the whole thing when the cover is opened. But I can omit that for easier packing.
