They won't lint or scratch like other paper masks. The elastic is soft, one of my children has a very small face and features so I tie a small knot behind each ear to give my youngest a snug fit. They forget they're even wearing them after school, they love the fun colors, I love that they have great coverage but don't look smothered, you can throw a spare mask in your backpack too as they're individually wrapped . We've used all the masks in the book including the cloth masks with replaceable filters, they're good but seem to sweat a lot underneath. I am happy with this purchase as masks are a part of life at the moment. I would recommend them to my friends
