I knit and crochet a lot of hats, mittens and scarves and need a knitting bag that will fit everything I need for a project, but this bag is just too big. I'm working on a sweater and the bag is too big for this project. I currently use a plastic shopping bag to store each of my projects and wanted to upgrade to something more travel friendly. This bag will be too big to carry on the plane, but it's good for traveling by car. Size aside, the bag feels durable and will likely last a long time. I really like that there are 2 slots at the top so you can pull out and put away your knits without opening the top cover. The bag practically does not keep its shape without a partition, so this is a minus. The second, smaller pouch that comes with the larger pouch is quite thin but fits small scissors, crochet hooks, tape measure, stitch markers and the like, but is too small for long knitting needles.
