Review on 🔁 NMEA 0183 Multiplexer with SeaTalk Converter: QK-A031 - Product Review & Comparison by James Vilchez

I read another bad review and wrongly assumed that person did something wrong. I have 2 separate NMEA 0183 channels coming into the unit, it is configured correctly but there is no output. I contacted the manufacturer on their support forum and they told me to reverse the polarity on my input leads, which I've tried and still nothing comes out. Their next suggestion was to buy an RS422 to RS232 adapter for each of the 3 inputs, effectively doubling the cost for a device that had to work with RS422 from the start, as specified in the NMEA 0183 standard.
