Returned well for GPS marine chart plotters

Couldn't get NMEA out to work, NMEA 2 in didn't recognize the connection and when I plugged it into my NMEA port other listeners on the port went blank . The SeaTalk input seemed to work just as well as the wi-fi, but it didn't do what I needed. I ended up finding out why and sent it back.

Returns - Automotive & Vehicle Electronics

The NMEA out didn't work, the NMEA 2 in didn't recognize the connection and when I plugged it into the NMEA speaker port the other listeners on the port went dark . The SeaTalk input seemed to work just as well as the wi-fi, but it didn't do what I needed. I found out why and sent it back.

Doesn't work as advertised

I read another bad review and wrongly assumed that person did something wrong. I have 2 separate NMEA 0183 channels coming into the unit, it is configured correctly but there is no output. I contacted the manufacturer on their support forum and they told me to reverse the polarity on my input leads, which I've tried and still nothing comes out. Their next suggestion was to buy an RS422 to RS232 adapter for each of the 3 inputs, effectively doubling the cost for a device that had to work with…
