I had a pair of smaller Sidi shoes for 15 years and although the adhesive on the velcro straps eventually failed I repaired them to keep as a spare pair. You refuse to die. Genius is aptly named. There are so many thoughtful touches and ideas in them. I can't imagine another pair will ever be needed. Robust, comfortable, almost infinitely adjustable, stiff where it needs to be and flexible in everything else, the quality of design and workmanship is only surpassed by high-quality materials. The old adage "You get what you pay for" was no doubt intended for such things.
