We grill too much and I needed a good grill that I could use indoors and cook big meals.

I bought this shallow pan in hopes of lowering my husband's cholesterol to a healthy level. We grill too much and I needed a good grill that I could use indoors and cook a lot of food for a large family. The look of this pan was sturdy and it appeared to be of good quality. It has a comfortable weight, it is neither heavy nor light. The non-stick surface works well with no excess fat, even for pancakes or bread. The design of this pan is not perfect. Good high holds seem great because you are high and away from the heat. For safety, the handles are good, but block the pan's ability to sit flush with the back of the stove. The location of the handle pushes the pan forward, almost letting it hang off the front of the stove. Because of this, there are two very hot places to cook and two cool places. I find it necessary to stir the food in order for it to brown properly. It's a bit awkward to cook with, but other than that it does the job well. I will attach a photo so you can see the design and how it interferes with sitting on a regular stove. If you have a conventional electric stove, I would recommend a pan with a different handle that can be placed on the back of the stove. Update: After several uses in the last few weeks, the pan is now warped. It no longer lies flat on the hob. I've never put it in hot water. I cannot recommend this pan.
