This item was already deformed (kinked or creased) when unpacked. It will never lie flat on the stove. Cheap and obviously you get what you pay for in this case. I just replaced it with a $5 more expensive one from Costco and it was flat and had a circumference feature that seems to help prevent warping. Don't waste your time with this junk.

This is a thin piece of aluminum with a Teflon coating. It's not as thick as the skillet he replaced. I would not recommend this pan to others. I bought these to replace a skillet we bought at Macy's about 8-10 years ago. I would return it for a refund but we need a frying pan to make pancakes and like the rest of the country we are in lockdown. Frying pan is just the right size for a conventional electric range as shown in the pictures above in the test with one of the handles cut off. With the handle removed, it's just the right size. Use a hacksaw, a cut-off wheel on a nap, or something else. I've been using it for six months, use it quite often and the non-stick coating is holding up great. Some IMUSA products are my favorites in my home for ease of use and cleaning, but the IMUSA pan is not. Of course, I only used it once, but it definitely had a few downsides.1.
