I have a very old wooden office chair. I bought some nice new casters/wheels for it that seem to have the size and shape connections that all modern office chairs have. The original rosettes on the antique chair are very thin, much thinner than what appears to be the new normal. I bought these as a replacement and they still don't fit my LPHY office chair's wheels which have a "7/16" universal shank, they are too thin despite being wider than the original antique bases. I am leaving 5 stars because I was the problem and they fit perfectly if I had a chair for them.
